A Few Words About Me
I have been in the Gas Industry for 40 Years and have gained a vast experience, since leaving school and working with Scottish Gas, British Gas and Aberdeen Fireplace Centre during that time. I have been a Gas Safe Registered Engineer during that period (previously CORGI), and my current Registration number is 194084.
Aberdeen Fireplace Centre was established by myself in 1999, and have been Supplying and Installing Gas & Electric Fires, Complete Fireplaces, Wood Burning Stoves and related products during that time. Prior to this I worked in the Gas industry, serving my apprenticeship with Scottish Gas based in Aberdeen and continuing with British Gas in the Installation, Servicing, Maintenance and Fault Diagnosis of all Gas appliances.
Looking to the future
The Customers who have bought fires and had installations carried out by us over the last 20 plus Years …., are very important to me and I look forward to looking after their needs and making sure their fires give them many more years of service.
Unfortunately, I am no longer in a position to offer such a comprehensive Installation service, but I will continue to carry out the maintenance side of the Business, with a reduced Installation provision, for my EXISTING Customers.
What is GAS SAFE Register ?
Gas Safe Register is the only official gas registration body of gas Businesses in the UK. By law, All Gas Businesses MUST be on the Gas safe Register.
A Gas engineer can only be aligned to a registered business if they hold a valid & current qualification. This evidence of competence relates only to matters of gas safety and is obtained by every engineer through a recognised route of training and assessment.
